I tell you, this living like a regular housewife is a lot of work! I made banana bread last night - got too done on the outside and not done enough on the inside. I tripled the recipe and made it in a regular loaf-size pan. I also only had one banana instead of three and just used raisins...too many changes to the recipe I think.
I need:
muffin pan
Mammoth muffin pan
Mini loaf pans
I also made a pot of easy meals: ground turkey, Quinoa, tomatoes, mushrooms, and Braggs Amino Acids (tastes like soy sauce but its actually good for you). Not a pretty meal but it gets the job done!
Made it to gym for circuits every morning this week! Ran on treadmill last night until it shut off completely in the middle of my run. Anyone know if treadmills can be fixed? :-(
Clean Eating since last Monday. So far so good!

Monday Madness
Not much new to report. Food has been great except for yesterday during the football game.
More Peanut M&Ms and Mike&Ikes than were necessary.
Made Turkey Meatloaf Muffins, Quinoa, and Chick Parmesan this weekend. So proud of myself!
Plan to do some interval training on the treadmill this week in addition to morning circuits at the gym. Looking forward to a quiet, relaxing weekend up north with my hubby. Have Friday off so only a 4 day week for me!

Events and such
Getting excited for events this summer. Tris, 5Ks and fun in my future!
Been eating clean since Monday and feel good. Belly gets bloated and uncomfortable but that is typical for me with the increase fiber, etc. Will be better once system has a chance to get used to it again.
Made FABULOUS cocoa muffins and chicken bites on Wednesday night.

Loving the Eat Clean Diet Recharged book.
Don't get me wrong, it is everything you already know if you've done BFL, competed, or been somewhat of a fitness guru. Just repackaged...but I like the packaging. :-)

So, I'm a once per year blogger I guess. :-)
I accomplished almost all of my mini goals in 2009.
No windsurfing lessons.
No triathlon - did do a 5K though.
Now onto 2010. Business is gone so we can concentrate on us again! Fun!
I got Vibram FiveFingers shoes today. Made a few meals for the week. Onward and upward batman!

Sister is yelling due to no posts even though I have new goals...
Alright then, here they are:
January - consistency
February - rock climbing at REI
March - 1 pull-up
April - take kettlebell class
May - attend figure competition - most likely just to watch and help out
June - Windsurfing classes! and set goals for rest of year
July - 1 triathlon

Twin Cities 10 Mile
I finished! My chip time was 1:55:48 and my other time was 2:02 (the race officially started at 7:13 but I didn't go accross the starting line till 7:19 or so, I go by the chip time!)
It was only about 50degrees and it rained the last two miles but other than that, I thought it went really well. it was fun and I just kept slow comfortable pace and it wasn't bad at all. Now, I'm not too sore but my hip joint are feelin it.
all in all, I'm really happy I could finish. I didn't really train well at all. So I am content with my finish!
